Sigrid Keunen Sigrid Keunen est compositeur, performeur et violoniste. Elle a étudié l'alto à Conservatoire Royal d'Anvers chez le prof. Leo De Neve et a fait classe de maître chez Ervin Schiffer (CH), Mikhail Bezverkny (RUS/FR), Yvietta Matison (FR) et Eduard Wulfson (FR). Elle a fait partie aux programmes de residence pour artistes à Banff Centre for the Arts (Banff, Canada) l'alto et la composition (2000) et l'alto, le performance et la composition (2003). En tant que l'instrumentaliste indépendante, elle a collaboré avec plusieurs ensembles de chambre et orchestres classiques en Belgique. Actuellement elle travaille à l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège. Elle a performé avec Liza Minelli, Cat Power et Robby Lakatos, elle aime aussi de raconter d'histoires à l'accompagnement de l'alto. Elle a collaboré avec Wayn Traub, belgique metteur en scène très fameux, et Praga Khan (a.k.a.Lords of Acid), groupe du techno-rock. Pour le Dutch Esquire Quartet elle a composé le quartet pour le saxophone. Parmi ses compositions et performances, elle essaie de trouver la synergie entre le mouvement, la musique et le théâtre. Benjamin Duboc Benjamin Duboc est né le 20 mai 1969. contrebassiste / improvisateur / compositeur électroacoustique / prise de son Très tôt, en famille, il entend de la musique, du jazz. Il apprend le piano et la clarinette au conservatoire puis la contrebasse qu’il étudie avec Jean-François jenny Clark et Bernard Cazauran. Au sortir de l’adolescence, “la musique et l’art comme moyen d’être“. Il travaille alors avec Gaël Mevel et Thierry Waziniak avant de jouer dans le groupe octopus avec Benoist Raffin et Jobic le Masson qu’il rencontre en décembre 1993 en Slovaquie. Dès lors, il ne cesse de participer à des projets ou rencontres avec grand nombre de musiciens de free jazz et de musique improvisée. Musicien actif et dont le travail est de donner forme au temps, il évolue aujourd’hui comme improvisateur et compositeur de musique électroacoustique au sein de contextes aux formes expressives variées (musique, danse, théâtre, image…) Anna Iv Anna Iv (Anna Ivanova), born 1987 in Mogilev, Belarus and is a classically-trained cellist. In 2003-2007 she studied at Rimsky-Korsakov Music College in Mogilev under Tatiana Leontieva and graduated from Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk in 2007. Since then she has worked with her teacher Alexei Afanasiev and has perfomed cello concerts solo. She assisted Prof. Kirill Rodin during a masterclass at the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 2010, in 2008-2011 she was a part of the Gradus and Parnassum Chamber Orchestra of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. Since October 2011 she works in the orchestra of the Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater in Minsk. The collaboration with Paweł Janicki on the EU_tracer performance during Live Performers Meeting festival in Minsk (September 2011), was her first experience with contemporary media performance. Mikhajlo Balog Mikhajlo Balog, a young tenor and soprano saxophonist, started to play saxophone when he was eight. After ten years of official education, he graduated from the S.S. Prokofiev State Music Academy of Donetsk in 2008. His unique compositions may be defined as free, experimental and alternative. They are influenced by music from his native Transcarpathia region, as well as by atonal modal system of Indian meditative music. In 2009-2010 he took part in jazz masterclasses in Poland run by Jerzy Główczewski, Adam Wendt and Andrzej Olejniczak. He participated in a number of projects, such as Uzhhorod Big Band playing jazz, Tequila dealing with pop-rock, jazz&folk Acoustic Duo, Eugenia Sakharova Project, a vocal pop-jazz group and the Big Band of Ukrainian National Circus. Since 2010 he is a member of the experimental ethno-jazz group ShockolaD, together with Serga Kasinets he created the Afterlight Project, playing meditative, experimental music. Mikhajlo Balog lives and works in Lviv. Gerard Lebik Gerard Lebik, born 1980, gradutaed from Wroclaw Academy of Music in 2006. His interests switched from classical music and jazz to free improvisation, experimental music and composition. Lebik creates sound and music either by improvisation, musical notation or through direct manipulation of sonic material using electronic and electroacoustic media. Expanding the realm of music, he uses various techniques and instruments, such as tenor saxophone, contralto clarinet, zopan wave generators, electronics, air compressors, analog video feedback, objects and computer software. He's been involved in a number of projects, cooperating with such artists and formations, as Rob Mazurek, Eryck Abecassis, Kazuhisa Uchihashi, Sebastian Meissner, Hernani Faustino, Gabriel Ferrnandini, Mikrokolektyw, SLUG DUO, Robert B. Lisek, Pawel Janicki, Damas Quartet. Gerard Lebik lives and works in Wrocław. |
